CompTel has reached an agreement with Richardson based The Warren Center to upgrade their existing telecommunications platform and provide a Voice over IP (VoIP) system in the new Garland facility. CompTel will connect the centers’ two locations with an integrated voice and data system that will allow administrators, staff and teachers to better communicate internally. The new system will also allow for more efficient external communications with parents and community members who have regular contact with the center.
The Mitel 5000 Communications Platform was chosen to provide effortless call handling capabilities for the staff and ease of management for the IT department. Mitel's System Administration & Diagnostics application provides a well-organized means to manage changes and monitor system health. With its ease of use and intuitive interface, updates and quick fixes can be performed extremely efficient.
