Mitel has made available a security update for MiVoice Business to refresh a security certificate that is due to expire in August 2020. The Security update is applicable for MiVoice Business systems including Release 5.0 through to Release 9.0 SP2. The absence of this update will result in your MiVoice Business solution entering License Violation after the 21st August, 2020.

CompTel Communications committed to servicing affected systems to ensure the consistency of your communications. There are two courses of action available to update your MiVoice Business Security Certificate:

• Install the recently released MiVoice Business Release 9.0 Service Pack to modernize your network to the latest version of software;

• Install a Security Certificate Update for Release 5.0 to Release 8.0

MotorCops For Kids

This weekend employees from CompTel Communications attended the 17th Annual Motor Cops for Kids Toy Run. We have participated in this event many times over the last several years and have been thrilled with the turnout. Hundreds of riders come from all parts of the DFW metroplex to participate in the event, providing the Shiners with much needed support for children in need. Since it started in 2002, this toy run has raised $376,000 and provided over 14,500 toys for local charities and needy children in nearby communities.
