Changes to Mitel’s Free UC Client Program

Mitel has announced changes to the free Unified Communicator Express (UCX) client program. The existing free of charge UCX client program for MCD & 5000 platform deployments will be ending May 31st, 2013 and will be replaced with a free Unified Communicator Advanced (UCA) Basic client. Chargeable UCX deskphone control and UCX softphone client part numbers will continue to be made available.

Mitel is introducing a Basic Unified Communicator Advance (UCA) windows and web client that will allow UCA capabilities to be delivered to all Mitel IPT users in the organization at no additional cost.
